BBC Radio 1 in New DJ's We Trust Jaymo & Andy George come to Ironworks on April 24th with special guests Leatherhead, Filth DJs (Ross Lyall & Andrew McGibbon) and Look Mum! It's the DJs.
At the helm of one of the most exciting nights to emerge from the past 2 years, Moda, Jaymo & Andy George have crafted a brand that stands for cutting-edge music and sleepless nights.
Their Moda parties have simply exploded, growing from a few hundred people in a dimly lit bar to1600 punters raving hard in a massive warehouse!
Their performances have won them an army of fans, most notably in the form of super-producer Kissy Sell Out - who nominated them as his favourite new DJs as part of the BBC Introducing Tour 2008.
In April, Jaymo & Andy became two of the youngest people to ever record a live Essential Mix for Radio 1 - quickly catching the attention of the stations bosses.
Fast forward and the duo have their very own show on Radio 1, and prepare to take their sound global! Crafted with the sole intention of fronting the world’s coolest music, the show promises to be as fun and unpredictable as their rumbustious DJ sets!
DJ duo Leatherhead combine tech House grooves, grinding electro, and everything in between, with their unique, raw and feral energy. Tom B learnt his trade spinning vinyl and through a mutual hunger for rhythm, beats, glitchy sounds and synths, combined forces with Dom Joseph, a drummer and drum programmer. Their live sets are causing carnage behind decks all over the UK and beyond, having already made their mark on 2009 at Rockness, Glastonbury, Snowbombing and slots all over Europe, including France and Ibiza
Filth resident DJs Andrew McGibbon & Ross Lyall need no introduction to Inverness clubbers having DJed alongside the likes of Audio Bullys, Jon Carter and Dave Spoon their dirty underground house and electro set remain as popular as ever.
Look Mum! It's The DJs emerged in the summer of 2009 with a summer residency in Mad Hatters, Inverness, a slot at the Mothers Ruin stage at the Belladrum Festival and finally an opening slot for Radio 1 legend Dave Pearce.
Tickets should be on sale Monday
